Every year Actor’s Edge hosts an educational showcase in Hollywood where students have the opportunity to meet, perform for, and learn from Los Angeles talent agents and other entertainment industry insiders.

Although no acting studio can promise, and no student should ever expect, auditions, jobs, or representation from an educational showcase, we are proud to report that we have one of the highest success rates of any studio in LA in respect to actors signing with agents or managers they’ve impressed at our showcases.
The Purpose of classes at Actor’s Edge and the Hollywood trips are to give actors the tools and techniques they need, and a positive creative environment, to elevate their craft to the highest possible level. They are SOLELY EDUCATIONAL AND NOT A PROMISE OF, OR REPRESENTATION TO HELP STUDENTS FIND, EMPLOYMENT IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. Attaining employment as a professional actor is, and always has been, extremely difficult, often requiring years of commitment, a lot of talent, and even a great deal of luck. Students should take classes at Actor’s Edge and attend Hollywood Showcases, not expecting a job, but to develop as actors and to meet and learn from working entertainment industry professionals.
This showcase is a learning experience. It is not an audition or an employment opportunity. When the showcase is over, the guests will not be taking home nor be given access to your headshot, resume, or any other of your promotional materials. AGAIN: Workshops/classes/events are NOT job interviews. The presence of an industry professional is in no way a promise of employment. Actor’s Edge does NOT attempt to procure employments for actors/artists – our classes and showcases are strictly for educational purposes. Please visit www.castingsociety.com to view the CSA’s guidelines for their members for educational workshops.
